If you had told us a year ago that we'd be running a faith-based streetwear brand out of our garage in Corpus Christi, Texas, we might have laughed. Not because the idea was crazy — but because we didn't realize how much the Christian apparel space was waiting for something different.
Living Water Clothing launched in February 2025. And honestly? It started with a frustration — and a conviction that faith-based streetwear could be so much better.
We Couldn't Find What We Were Looking For
We were getting bolder in our faith. Reading more. Talking about the gospel more. Wanting to live it out in every area of life — not just on Sundays. The gospel had become clearer to us — and our assurance was anchored in Christ's promise, not our performance. Naturally, we wanted to wear something that reflected that.
So we started shopping. Christian tees, faith-based hoodies, the whole space. And what we kept running into was the same problem over and over: the quality didn't match the message. Shirts that shrunk after two washes. Designs that felt like clip art. Messaging that was either watered down or so aggressive it shut conversations down before they started.
We knew there had to be a better way. So we decided to build it ourselves.
Built on Grace, Rooted in Scripture
Living Water Clothing isn't just another brand slapping Bible verses on blanks. Every piece we make is rooted in a specific passage and a specific theology — Free Grace.
If you're not familiar, Free Grace theology centers on a pretty straightforward idea: salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. Period. No strings attached. No hoops to jump through. Ephesians 2:8-9 says it plainly — "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." Jesus said it just as clearly: "He who believes in Me has everlasting life" (John 6:47).
We named the brand "Living Water" because of Jesus' promise in John 4:14 — life He gives freely and permanently, not something you earn and maintain. That picture of grace is exactly what we want every design to echo. Our goal is clarity: salvation is free, assurance is real, and growth is the grateful response — not the requirement.
That verse is literally the heartbeat of our Faith Alone Oversized Tee. When someone asks about the shirt, you've got an open door to talk about the most important truth there is. That's the whole point.
Every design we create — from Grace is Free to Disciple Daily — ties back to a specific scripture and a specific gospel truth. We're not interested in vague, feel-good slogans. We want every shirt to be a conversation waiting to happen.
Why Streetwear? Because We're Casual People.
We didn't set out to make dress clothes or church merch. We're casual people. We wanted to create pieces that we'd actually wear every single day — out with friends, grabbing coffee, hitting the gym, going to Bible study, hanging at the beach.
Corpus Christi is a coastal city. It's laid-back. People wear tees and hoodies to everything, including church. So streetwear just made sense. We wanted our apparel to feel premium, fit great, and carry a life-changing message without looking like you're trying too hard.
That's the sweet spot we aim for: clothing that looks good, feels good, and opens doors for gospel conversations in the most natural way possible.
A Garage Business (And Proud of It)
We always say we're an "at garage" business — because we literally are. Our entire operation runs out of our climate-controlled garage right here in Corpus Christi. That's where we print. That's where we pack orders. That's where we plan the next collection. It's home base.
Is it glamorous? Not even a little. But we love it. There's something real about building something from the ground up, one shirt at a time, in the place where you live your actual life.
A Pause That Made Us Stronger
A few months after launching in early 2025, life threw us the best kind of curveball — our second son, Luca, was born. We made the decision to step back from the business for about six months. It was a busy season, but we wouldn't trade it for anything. Getting to know our newest family member, being present, being together — that mattered more than any drop or market.
We kicked things back into gear in November 2025, and we came back with more clarity, more energy, and a deeper conviction about what we're building. The break didn't slow us down. It sharpened us.
We Live What We Make
Here's what we're most proud of: we live out every shirt we create. We don't live this to earn anything from God — we live it because we already have eternal life as a gift.
When we print "Disciple Daily," we mean it — following Jesus is a daily call (Luke 9:23). But we never confuse discipleship with salvation: eternal life is a free gift received by faith (John 6:47; Ephesians 2:8-9). Discipleship is real and costly. Salvation is free and settled the moment you believe. When we say "Faith Alone," we actually believe that — and we'll have that conversation with anyone who asks. When we show up at local markets around Texas, we're not just selling shirts. We're meeting people, sharing the gospel, and building community.
We look forward to eternity with Christ — and we love meeting people who are curious, hungry, or already convinced of that same hope. That's the heartbeat behind everything we do.
What's Next
We're just getting started. New designs are in the works. We're expanding our product line, showing up at more markets across Texas, and building an online community of people who want to wear their faith boldly.
If that sounds like you, we'd love to have you along for the ride.
